Dr. Gurki Malhi
Dentist
Dr. Gurki Malhi is an approachable and friendly clinician committed to providing comprehensive patient centric care. After completing his Hon B.Sc and M.Sc from Wilfrid Laurier University Dr Malhi completed his doctoral studies in Sydney Australia. Dr Malhi worked for several years abroad in cosmopolitan and rural Australia before returning home to serve his community. Dr. Malhi has also had the privilege to volunteer dental services in northern India providing dental aid for underserved communities. When Dr Malhi isn't expanding his skills in dentistry he's likely enjoying the company of friends and family. His hobbies include weightlifting, cycling and video/film editing to commemorate travel experiences.
Dr Navpreet Johal
Dentist
Dr. Johal completed her Honours B.Sc at the University of Toronto prior to completing doctorate studies in dentistry from the University of Sydney. Her goal is to build good rapport with her patients and provide the best possible patient experience.Dr. Johal takes a keen interest in preventive and holistic dentistry and is constantly improving her skill set through continued dental education. During her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and aspires to one day have a puppy.
Renee
Registered Dental Hygienist
Renee was born and raised in Montreal. She started working in dentistry since 2011 as a dental assistant. Realizing her joy in helping others through dentistry, she furthered her education and graduated from Maisonneuve College Dental Hygiene in 2016.The most important aspect of her job is educating patients about proper oral hygiene and prevention of periodontal disease. She prides herself on being very thorough yet super gentle.In addition to performing the cleanings, Renee believes that building relationships with her patients, based on trust will enable her to render the highest level of care. In her free time she loves being active, traveling and spending time with her family.
Melea
Registered Dental Hygienist
Melea graduated from Canadian Academy of Dental Hygiene and has an Honours Bachelor of Science from University of Toronto. Melea enjoys building trusting and professional relationships with her clients based on their dental needs to help achieve not only a healthy smile, but overall health. In her spare time, Melea enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching sports, trying out new restaurants and travelling.

Hygiene / Office Coordinator
Despite having over 25 years of dental and medical administrative experience under my belt, I look at each day as an opportunity to learn something new and exciting! I work hard to meet the unique needs of our practice members and strive to ensure that every patient gets the care they deserve, effectively and efficiently. When I am not at work I enjoy reading books, gardening, and spending time with my family.
Suman
Treatment Coordinator
Suman, born and raised in Mississauga, graduated with Honours from a dental assisting program in 2017 and is coming with over four years of experience in the dental field. She has had an interest in dentistry since she was very young and is continuing her education at York University pursuing her Bachelors. Suman is passionate about making every patient feel confident with their smile. In her free-time, Suman enjoys spending time with her friends and family as well as attending concerts, baking, and staying active!

Hi I am Jessy. I am honoured to serve the patients of Onyx Dental as a dental assistant. I grew up and completed all my education in Mississauga. I have a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto and a diploma in Dental Assisting from Anderson College. My motivation for entering the dental field is to actively engage with patients and help them maintain optimal oral health. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking, and baking.

Hi I am Mary Ann and will be your registered dental assistant. I have taken care of patients at Onyx Dental for over 5 years however have been a clinical assistant since 1999. I enjoy meeting our diverse patients and learning more about them when they come in for their care visits. We treat our patients like family and couldn't be more proud of the services we provide.

With over a decade in the dental industry, Kelly is able to help our patients navigate their dental care and provide a smooth patient experience. With a focus on patient care, she serves to ensure you are beyond satisfied with each step of your journey at Onyx Dental.
